In winter, the cabin can be reached:

• From Ovronnaz via Fénestral
• From Champex d’Alesse via Scex-Carroz cabin

Winter access requires good knowledge of snow conditions.

Wind patterns in this region sometimes create wind slabs in unexpected places—be careful!
From November to the end of May, only the winter room is accessible. Gas, facilities, kitchen utensils, and blankets are available. Even without a caretaker, reservations are essential.
